Pack your bags and leave your cares behind while you enjoy the many outdoor activities and the wonderful serenity here in the Jackman region. Then come home to Cozy Cove Cabins to enjoy a family dinner, sit around a campfire with friends, or just relax on your deck and enjoy a sunset.

We have nine housekeeping cabins on the Shore of Big Wood Lake in Jackman Maine. Our cabins can accommodate from 2-6 people; a couple looking for a romantic get away, a family of up to 6, friends looking for a sporting weekend or your can rent out multiple cabins for a family reunion, a spiritual or nature retreat, or a wedding.

Some cabins have decks overlooking Big Wood Lake while others have a glass/screen porch but the sunsets can be enjoyed and the song of the loons can be heard from any cabin at Cozy Cove Cabins.

Each cabin has all the comforts and amenities of home. They are clean with fresh linens and have all you need to make a great breakfast or a hearty supper, except for the food of course. Each cabin is an extension of our home and we want you to feel at home too.

CABINS DESCRIPTIONS

Cabin # 1: JESTER

(sleeps 6)

...is a 2 bedroom cabin with a queen bed in one bedroom and 2 twin bunk beds in the other. It can sleep up to 6 people. The living space includes a bath with shower, a full kitchen with table, and a small couch that looks out at the lake from a large picture window.

Throughout the cabin are puzzle pictures which add to the fun of this sporting camp. JESTER has a small glass/screen porch with 2 chairs and a deck overlooking the lake. Outside the cabin is a fire pit to enjoy all summer long.


Cabin # 2: INDIO

(sleeps 6)

...is a 2 bedroom cabin with a queen bed in one bedroom and 2 twin bunk beds in the other. It can sleep up to 6 people. The open living space includes a bath with shower, a full kitchen with a table and a couch. This open living area in Indio makes it comfortable for a family or group to share meals and evening fun while enjoying the lake views from the large picture window.

Outside, this cabin has a deck and a great fire pit beyond to enjoy in the spring, summer and fall while you listen to the loons or gaze at the stars! Some of the best summer sunsets can be seen from Indio whether inside or outside the cabin.

Cabin # 3: BAJA

(sleeps 6)

...(pronounced BaHa) is our bunkhouse which has 3 sets of twin bunk beds. It is an open concept cabin but the sleeping area is partitioned off for privacy with an enclosed bath. The living space has a full kitchen that overlooks the living and dining area, which is a step down from the kitchen. You can look out over the lake through the large picture window while cooking and still enjoy the conversations of those sitting at the table. Baja has a deck overlooking the lake.

Inside has a touch of a Mexican theme, again to add a little fun and personality to this sporting camp. The entrance offers an enclosed porch to store your gear or to get in out of the weather.

Cabin # 4: THE EAGLE'S NEST

(sleeps 6)

..is a 2 bedroom cabin with a Queen bed in one bedroom and 2 twin bunk beds in the other and can sleep up to 6 people. The living space includes a bath with shower, a full kitchen area with a table, couch and chair that looks out at the lake through a picture window.

The Eagles Nest is great for a group or family as it has a larger living space. It was named for our country's national emblem, the Bald Eagle and has a touch of Americana. It has a deck overlooking the lake and is a Non Smoking cabin.

Cabin # 5: OUR BEST WESTERN

(sleeps 4)

…offers a bit of old west rustic luxury that even John Wayne would love to visit. Although it can sleep up to 4 guests, this cabin is ideal for a couple seeking a relaxing retreat or a romantic get-away. This is a Non Smoking cabin.

The living area has a full kitchen, bar top, and a daybed that looks out over the lake through a large picture window. The bedroom has a Queen Bed. The bathroom includes a shower and a large whirlpool tub. We have also added a little more luxury for you to enjoy the full experience of the whirlpool with large fluffy towels, bath salts and even a CD player to listen to relaxing music while you soak. Outside, enjoy a sunset on your deck or by a "cowboy" campfire.

Cabin # 6: ZAKOPANE

(sleeps 2)

...(pronounced zuck-o-pun-ee) was named for a region in Poland. It is a small one room log interior cabin that has a brass framed queen size bed, table, a bath with a shower, and a small kitchenette with only a cook top. (no oven).

The enclosed porch offers protection from the wind or rain or to store your wet gear after a hard day of play. Zakopane is not on the lakeside of our property but you can still see the, enjoy great summer sunsets from your picnic table and of course, hear the call of the loons. Tami refers to this cabin as “a little love nest”. Because of the log interior, it is a Non-Smoking cabin.

Cabin # 7: YOSEMITE

(sleeps 6)

...is a large 2 bedroom cabin with a Queen bed in one bedroom and 2 twin bunk beds in the other and can sleep up to 6 people. The living space includes a bath with shower, a full kitchen area with a table, a couch and chair. This cabin is great for a group or family as it has a larger living space.

The interior is mostly log and has the feel of being in a cabin in Yosemite Valley. Although it is not lakeside of our property, you can still see the water and experience the best summer sunsets from the deck or while enjoying a summer campfire.

Cabin # 8: BEACHES

(sleeps 4)

...is a one room cabin that can sleep up to 4 people. It has a queen bed, a twin size bunk bed, table, a full kitchen, and a private bath with shower.

The glass/screen porch has a couch and chair and offers privacy and protection from the wind or rain allowing you to enjoy being outside no matter what the weather. This cabin is not on the lake but you can still hear the loons and the shore is only a short jaunt across the driveway and down the hill.

Cabin # 9: KONA

(sleeps 4)

...is a one room cabin that can sleep up to 4 people. It has a queen bed, a twin bunk bed, table, a full kitchen, and a private bath with shower.

The glass/screen porch has a couch and chair and offers privacy and protection from the wind or rain or to store your wet gear after a hard day of play. This cabin is not on the lake but again, just a short jaunt across the driveway and down the hill.

Yes, we have all this plus we are still an easy walk or drive in to town where you can find almost everything else you may need: a grocery store, auto parts, ATV/Snowmobile parts, gas stations, and some wonderful pubs and eateries. You might even end up joining the friendly conversation and gossip while you browse through any of the businesses in town.
