We offer an atmosphere of complete relaxation and natural beauty any time of the year. The gorgeous sunsets can be seen and the gentle songs of the loons can be heard from any cabin at COZY COVE CABINS.

Every SEASON in Jackman offers new adventures for the outdoor enthusiast: the best Maine ATV and Maine snowmobile trail access from your cabin; boating, fishing, or swimming right outside your door on Big Wood lake; hiking, hunting, or exploring are all within miles of your cabin or if you prefer, just relaxing on the deck as you watch a sunset.you can do it all when you stay at COZY COVE CABINS.

So, no matter what the season, after a hard day of play, come HOME to one of our warm comfortable cabins to relax and enjoy.

Big Wood Lake

COZY COVE CABINS has 293 feet of shore on Big Wood Lake offering plenty of space to lie in the sun, swim in the lake, fish off the dock, or take a boat for a ride.

The lake itself is 6 1/2 miles long and 2 1/2 miles wide, and connects to other Ponds via the Moose River. The surrounding rivers, streams and ponds offer any type of fishing (trolling, casting, bait) or boating (motor, canoe, Kayak, PWC) experiences your heart may desire.

And when the ice freezes, fishing is right outside your cabin on Big Wood Lake. January seems to be the best month for ice fishing for Salmon, Trout, Splake and Cusk but many anglers do very well throughout the winter months.

Our Maine Cabins can Accommodate 2-6 People

We have 9 cabins, each unique in both size and style (in the process) which can accommodate from 2-6 people; a couple looking for a romantic get away, a family vacation of up to 6, friends looking for a great sporting weekend or your can rent out multiple cabins for a family reunion, a spiritual or nature retreat, or a wedding.

Each cabin has all the comforts and amenities of home including a full kitchen and all you need to make a great breakfast or a hearty supper, except the food of course. Staying in one of our cabins gives you the option to dine in, cook out on the grill or if you do not feel like cooking, you can sample some of the great restaurants in town. Our cabins are clean with fresh linens and towels provided. Five cabins have decks overlooking the lake, some cabins have a glass/screen porch and others are just across the driveway so views of the lake and the incredible sunsets are possible from each cabin. You will never feel boxed in when you stay at our lakeside cabins.

So depending on the size of your group and whatever style or extras you are looking for, you can find it right here at COZY COVE CABINS in Maine.

Rustic Sporting Cabins

When we purchased COZY COVE CABINS in 2004, we embarked on an aggressive cabin upgrade and renovation program. Besides all new linens, some cabins have only needed our personal touch; some have needed a bit more.

Please know that our renovation process will take a little time and that whatever we do, we will always have your comfort in mind.

We hope you like the changes we have made so far and our plans for the future. Our goal is not to build "new" cabins but to restore and maintain the rustic sporting camps you love, maintain a little of Maine History and make each of them just a little bit "cozier".

Cozy Cove Cabin WEBCAM

Welcome to our NEW Web-Cam! Our family, friends and many of our guests have asked us for a web-cam so they can see what is really happening here, in real time, at Cozy Cove Cabins. We finally have one. At this time, our Web-cam will not have continuous video but it will take a snapshot every minute or so. (Due to internet traffic, the time may vary) This is also not its permanent home. The view you see is of our shoreline, Big Wood Lake and a sneak peak at the incredible sunsets we see every night but eventually, once the snow melts, the view may change a little.

Until we can move it to its final spot, we have it set to be on during the day only (6:30am-6:45pm) but we may also turn it off occasionally to respect the privacy of our guests.
